About me ...

Living my whole life in, and surrounded by, agriculture has shaped who I am: It is my family, it is my home. Coming from an immigrant family, I have learned about hard work, loss, and accomplishment.

Being a worker and owner of my small family’s farm has allowed a closeness, love, and respect for nature; nature being what drives my work. I am exploring various paths with my connection to nature, culture, agriculture, and the spiritual. My focus has been on the colors, marks, textures, and other formal elements in my artwork. Although this is accomplished by oil painting, I have recently extended and explored three-dimensional materials and views as well.
